Preseptal cellulitis in children (1075)

Scope

This flowchart is intended to be used for children from the age of 0-16 with suspected preseptal cellulitis. It is to guide clinicians as to when to consider other causes of lid swelling and how to treat preseptal cellulitis.

  • Wednesday afternoons and out of hours 2nd on call ophthalmologist can be contacted through switchboard
