Spiritual Care Service
The Spiritual Care Team is here for you. We are here to support patients, relatives, visitors and staff in the context of illness, injury or loss.
We offer compassionate, person-centred care, and this service is available to the whole hospital community – people of all backgrounds, faiths and belief groups and none.
The Spiritual Care Team can support you if you are:
- Feeling anxious, worried or afraid
- Dealing with a new diagnosis or difficult news
- Undergoing or recovering from surgery
- Needing support with your faith or values
- Coping with loss and bereavement
- Trying to make sense of your situation
- Simply in need of someone to listen sensitively to all you are dealing with
The Healthcare Chaplain for RHC is Drew Smithsimmons.
