Intubation checklist, RHC PICU

Objectives

The aim of this checklist is to maximise safety and reduce variability. It is a cognitive aid to be used by the team during the delivery of emergency anaesthesia and intubation in RHC Glasgow. 

Scope

This checklist is to be used when delivering emergency anaesthesia and intubation outside of the operating theatre at RHC Glasgow. There is a separate checklist for neonates in NICU. 

Audience

Members of the paediatric critical care team involved in intubating neonates, infants and children.
