Primary Care:

Between the hours of 9am and 9pm referrals should be made through Consultant Connect. This system will connect calls directly to paediatric triage and is much faster than going through hospital switchboard.

Download the App here:

If you do not have access to Consultant Connect phone switchboard on 0141 2010000 and ask to be connected to the paediatric medical triage line.

A paediatrician will be available to give advice, take your referral and help you determine how quickly your patient should be seen.

Between the hours of 9pm and 9am referrals are made through switchboard to the GP referral line. A nurse will take the details of your referral and advise the patient to attend ED. If you would like to discuss a patient or are looking for advice, please call the paediatric registrar on: 0141 4514678

Referral information for suspected diabetes can be found on theĀ Greater Glasgow and Clyde Child & Adolescent Diabetes Service website
